The company at a glance​

UC Solutions Ltd (UCS) was set up on 26th September 2005 to initially act as company secretary and provide secretarial and administrative services to domestic companies in Mauritius. In 2021, it extended its business activity to operate as a full-fledged management company, duly licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC),  whose main activity is to set up, administer, manage, provide nominee and other services to global business entities, act as corporate trust or qualified trustee and act as secretary to foundations.

UCS is founded by Mr Muhammad Reza Cassam Uteem, a Barrister in International commercial law, corporate finance, public law, trusts and tax consultancy and litigation and a member of the Mauritius National Assembly.

Our dynamic and qualified professionals, with experience in the global business sector, provides tailor made solutions to clients involved in cross border investment, structured finance and niche market in an efficient and timely manner.

We partner with Uteem Chambers, a leading law firm in Mauritius and pioneer in financial services. Uteem Chambers provides legal advice to world’s leading international financial institutions, multilateral development banks, inter-governmental organizations and professional advisers including leading international law and accountancy firms.

UCS intends to explore new or underutilized markets such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nigeria, other African countries and Middle East countries.

The Management Company envisages to venture into the lucrative market of Islamic finance by encouraging issuer of sukuk (islamic bonds) to be based in Mauritius, promoting the use of Mauritius entities for Ijara (Islamic leasing) and Takaful (Islamic insurance) purposes and encouraging High Net Worth families and businesses located principally in the Middle East to use Mauritius Charitable Trusts and Foundations for their zakat fund (Islamic Charity).
